Once the herbs are procured, the process continues throughout a multitude of Good Manufacturing Practices and stringent quality assurance controls in our FDA-audited manufacturing facility. This careful attention to detail assures our customers the trust that each and every product is produced correctly, batch after batch, each and every time.
Butcher's broom seems to have a favorable effect on the legs. Veins constrict after consumption of the herb and swelling subsides. By acting directly on the blood vessels, butcher's broom increases blood flow and thus an increase in circulation is precipitated. Butcher's broom has been used as a diuretic in folk medicine and was believed to be a mild osmotic diuretic: a substance which draws water out of cells.
For many centuries the Butterbur plant (Petasites hybridus) was traditionally used as a herbal remedy for conditions like pain, fever and spasms. Already the Greek physician Dioscurides used butterbur leaves to treat skin ulcers. Today, butterbur is mainly used for migraine prevention, but also for treating headaches and asthma.
Cat's Claw has long been used as a homeopathic treatment for intestinal ailments. Uses include: Crohn's disease, gastric ulcers and tumors, parasites, colitis, gastritis, diverticulitis and leaky bowel syndrome. By stimulating the immune system, it can also improve response to viral and respiratory infections.
Many herbalists believe that Cayenne is the most useful and valuable herb in the herb kingdom, not only for the entire digestive system, but also for the heart and circulatory system. It acts as a catalyst and increases the effectiveness of other herbs when used with them.
This is a bitter aromatic herb that tones, reduce blood pressure, stimulate the uterus, relieve indigestion, acts as a diuretic, anti-inflammatory and aphrodisiac. Sedative effects have been reported.
Chamomile is one of the most widely used flowers for herbal tea. Chamomile Tea is so popular, it is found in most grocery stores in the tea aisle. It is used as a mild sedative, and is good for insomnia as well as many other nervous conditions. It is nervine and sedative especially suited to teething children and those who have been in a highly emotional state over a long period of time. Except for the small risk of allergy, Chamomile is also one of the safest herbs to use.
Chaste tree has been used to balance progesterone and estrogen production, and to regulate menstruation in women. Although limited data are available, it also has been used for relief of breast pain, ovarian insufficiency, and uterine bleeding, and to increase breast milk production.
Cilantro is used as an anti-inflammatory antispasmodic, anti-bacterial, soothing agent, digestive, mouthwash and stimulant. It also eases rheumatism and joint pain, combats diarrhea and intestinal poisoning, and eases toothaches. May help to detoxify heavy metals.
