Tea Leaf Alchemy Class with Marilyn: April 17, 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. $35. Followed by Readings from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. $45 per ˝ hour.
Shamanic Healing Journey is a 4-week class, beginning Saturday, May 15th and continuing for 4 consecutive Saturdays. 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Week 1: The spirit animals and/or guides. Week 2: The Great Tree. Week 3: The Healing Waters. Week 4: The Looking Glass. Each week you will also learn skills and techniques. Some of them are: Opening sacred space; Shielding skills; How to connect to your guides/spirit animals; Grounding & centering; Breath work; Simple cleansing techniques. In addition to these, we will also have lectures on emotions, pain & triggers. There will be lectures as well as group exercises. Admission fee: $250 paid in cash at Alternatives For Health. Deadline for registration and payment May 8th.
The next Herbal Apprenticeship is dated beginning June 12. This is a 10-month course this time on Saturdays once a month. $900 including supplies. $250 must be paid on registration. The other dates are July 17, August 14, September 11, October 9, November 20, December 11, January 8, February 12, and March 12.
You may have noticed the new addition to our porch. It is a Take it if you need it box. Pia Rogers actually had the idea. There is one at her coffee shop as well. We know there are people struggling in the area, so please pass it on. There are non-perishable food items, toiletries, etc. If you wish to contribute, just leave it in the bin by the door and we will restock. PLEASE pass this on. Access 24/7 This is for anyone in the community in need.
Herbfest is a go this year! October 2 from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the Sturbridge Senior Center. We have begun our advertising and are taking applications for vendors. All classes will be indoors this time (no tents). We will have open classes that are free with registration and 3 Intensives which are $40 with Kathy Furze-Spencer, Guido Mase, and Chris Morano. You must register for the event in order to take the intensives. All this can be done on the website www.sturbridgeherbfest.com Pre-Registration is $15 ($25 at the door). The complete list of the free classes is still in the works. If you are interested in presenting, please give me a call. Please help us spread the word. All the Herbfest Swag is at the shop.
